In our traditional age-based day programs, we engage in fun field trips and group activities that build confidence and social skills. Two mornings per week, we dohabitat restoration projects, where campers improve the environment and earn a $15 weekly internship stipend.
We also have theme-based day programs, in which campers pursue the same social skills curriculum as our traditional camps, with a shared interest activity as the primary focus. Themed camps include: Improv/Theatre, Video Production and Building & Inventing.
We also offer girls-only sessions; Equine Camp and Art Camp.
Our summer staff is a multidisciplinary team from counseling, education, social work and psychology fields and includesfour school department heads. We strive to create long-term growth and we hire leaders in the field.

Raising children in a family in which there is a child with a disability adds another dimension to the complexity and challenges of parenting. The disability that challenges your family could be mild or severe,physical or cognitive, learning or behavioral.
Faced with these challenges, what can you do to help build aresilient family? Join us as Dr. Amy Ford offers practical advice on how to help your family thrive! She will present research on the physical and mental challenges parents face when raising a child with a disability. Dr. Ford will also address community resources, professional supports, as well as activities to help parents overcome these challenges.
WELCOME Dr. Amy Ford Dr. Amy Ford is a licensed mental health counselor with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Washington Care Clinic. Amy is the owner of Dayspring Behavioral Health a private counseling and assessment practice here in Issaquah.

December 2012: What to do over Holiday Break?? ASPIRING YOUTH Winter Break Camp An ongoing tradition, winter break camp is a fun opportunity to connect with friends while pursuing games, activities and excursions. Our Master’s level counselors make sure that winter break is a place for students to recharge and build social skills and confidence. Activities: Mornings, participants select from their favorite activities: Outdoor Games Challenge Course Board games/Magic the Gathering/Yu-gi-oh/DND and other indoor games Legos/Kinnex Comedy Improv/Art/Movement
Afternoon Field Trips (No additional fee. Field trips are optional if a student prefers not to go): Dec 26-Archie McPhee’s (Creative, zany toys…ash from home is allowed on this day) Dec 27-"The Hobbit", "Rise of the Guardians" Dec 28-Pump It Up (Bouncy arena with slides and obstacle course) Jan 2- Indoor Rock Climbing-Seattle Bouldering Project Jan 3-"The Hobbit", "Rise of the Guardians" Jan 4-Archie Mcphee’s (Creative, zany toys…ash from home is allowed on this day) Ages: Explorers (ages 8-10), Navigators (ages 10-12), Teen Crew (ages 13-15), Delphi (ages 15-19) Location: Seattle Dec 26 - Dec 28 & Jan 2 - Jan 4 Redmond Dec 26 – Dec 28 only Time: 10-3pm daily Fee: $75 per day, minimum two day enrollment (Payment is due day-of-event. We do not mail out invoices or accept payment by phone for winter break camp.)
Snacks Provided. Students bring lunch from home. Game Boys/other electronic gaming devices are not appropriate **High School students will have volunteer opportunities during this camp.
